Relaxation Drinks - Shots - Beverages

Relaxation drinks are a new and weird brand of beverages. Many beverages, such as Ichill, and Drank, and others, are touted as being the best- but are they really? Many such beverages have Melatonin in them. Let's be clear guys, sleeping is not the same as relaxation.....If I want to sleep - why not drink Nyquil or something else? Why go out of your way to pay $2-4 for a quick drink? I'm sure some liquor would do the same job.

The recent fervor in the relaxation drink beverage community has gotten a lot of people on their toes, because the F.D.A. might investigate all these companies who are selling relaxation drinks, with as high as 50x the amount of Melatonin - normally found in the human body. Here's the biggest thing, they are doing all of this without even a scientific published study backing them!

Mini Chill on the other hand, one of the leading competitors in the industry, is singling itself based on three things: 1. Lack of Melatonin 2.Great taste and 3. Ph.D backed study

Dr. Weeks, Professor at Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y., conducted clinical trials of Relarian - which is the effective relaxation ingredient found in Mini Chill - a relaxation beverage that is produced by Stevenson Products. These results and the details of the study were peer reviewed and published in the Medical Science Monitor. The study was done on 61 adult, who were given the Mini Chill relaxation drink, which contains 780 mg of Relarian. In this study, 52 adults reported that they felt relaxed. And of those 61 original adults, 39 reported that they felt more focused when conducting tasks.

Now you may wonder what is in Relarian? Well Relarian is made up of individual components that have had much scientific clinical studies done on them. It is made up of Valerian Root, GABA, L-Theanine and 5-HTP. Valerian Root, a herb, has been used since Hippocrates age and era to relieve stress. GABA - an amino acid, helps prevent over excitation. L-Theanine was isolated in the 1950's from green tea and is shown to produce a calm focus. 5-HTP - which is also an amino acid - creates a positive effect on your mood through increasing serotonin.

All of these findings by Dr. Weeks were submitted an international board of doctors and scientists who are responsible for reviewing and approving the research which is then published in the medical research periodical, "Medical Science Monitor." This research was submitted in 09/2009 and was then published in November, 2009.The fact this research was scientifically published established Mini Chill and Relarian as a fact - and not merely a hypothesis.
